Students and residents in Kennesaw, Ga. have a new hot spot that may be competition with Starbucks and smoothie shops. Blend It Up is a smoothie shop single-handedly run by a lady named Lee Te.
The various flavors range from cinnamon toast crunch, caramel latte and similar breakfast taste to Pina-colada, birthday cake and Samoa flavors.
“I believe the fact that the environment is so inviting and calming is a great attraction feature,” said Lauren Villaran, a frequent Blend It Up customer. “I love that I can get my chocolate fix while still maintaining a healthy meal.”
“I am very pleased with how this business has been flourishing,” said owner Lee. “I took the business over in July of 2012. I saw it had great potential and believed in the health benefits. We are high protein, meal-replacement shakes. “
Herbal Life is the product used for all the shakes. This product is also available to buy for personal use in making the shakes at home.
Lee instructs the guests how the shake process goes. Customers choose a flavor of tea that is a metabolism booster then choose a flavor for the actual shake. The flavors coincide with each other and provide vitamin A and C as well as antioxidants — more than a cup of broccoli — to enhance a healthy meal.
Customers can go to 123 Wade Green Street for a taste of Blend It Up smoothies.
