Main Event Attractions
Main Event Entertainment is a family entertainment center company, based in Dallas. Every Main Event location offers a different combination of attractions, which include bowling, laser tag, billiards, arcade, rock climbing, mini golf, gravity ropes, karaoke, and/or bocce ball. More information about each attraction can be found at www.mainevent.com.
These features draw in customers interested in enjoying things they have experienced before, and trying things they have not.
Main Event Atlanta
Main Event Atlanta opened its doors to the public Nov. 11, 2014, providing families with bowling lanes, arcade games, laser tag, gravity ropes, which is a suspended roped obstacle course, and billiards. There is also a bar that serves countless specialty drinks, ranging from $5 to $10, for all of those 21 or older. It is located at 3101 Cobb Pkwy SE, suite 104, Atlanta, Ga., which can be found under the AMC at Cumberland. It is open Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. Parking throughout the parking deck is free, and is close to the facility. There is an elevator for those unable to use the escalators or stairs.
Main Event Atlanta has been open for just a short while, but it “exceeds projected sales targets daily,” said Thad Ellis, the service manager.
Manager Paul Hart said, “We are second in the district, and third in the company.”
Deal Days and Events
To enable maximum participation of these attractions and guarantee fun, Main Event offers its guests deals and special promotions. These specials include things called Monday Night Madness, Winter FUNleagues, Event Specials, Lock-ins, and Happy Hours. Each promotion includes similar, yet different, features. Monday Night Madness, for instance, is especially popular, because it allows guests to enjoy all they can play bowling, laser tag, and gravity ropes, for only $10 per person every Monday.
Guests are also welcome to create memories at Main Event by scheduling birthday parties, corporate events, team building events, or they can rent out the entire facility. Most of these options include pizza or a buffet, whichever the guest requests. More information about the deals and scheduling can be found at http://www.mainevent.com/.
Main Event employees are carefully selected and trained for a minimum of three days on techniques to appease guests. This is to ensure that each guest leaves happier than he or she came.
Ellis said, “I look for personality, experience, and unique people who think outside the box and are willing to work hard; not only at work, but in life.” With the goal of making sure every guest leaves happier than they came in, it’s each employee’s job to contribute to every guest’s overall fun.
