KENNESAW, Ga. — Ecologie consignment shop offers students at Kennesaw State University a huge selection of choices to spice up their closet on a college student’s budget.
Seven years ago, Nancie Vann established Ecologie with the intent of bringing high class clothing brands to a town flooded with loan-ridden students. The shop is located less than 10 minutes from KSU and serves as an easy getaway for students to update their wardrobes for cheap.
“We actually began as a smaller store in this plaza and moved to this space in our third year, doubling our size!” said Vann.
Ecologie allows patrons to bring in lightly worn clothing to trade for cash or store credit.
“We accept any in-style clothing articles and shoes that are still in good condition,” said Vann. “It’s been a really great way to get to know customers.”
The business is comprised of five employees with Vann as their manager.
Ecologie employee Gabrielle Byndloss says plans to expand are underway. The company will begin advertising for the new location this summer.
“I’ve always enjoyed working here,” said Byndloss. “I can’t wait to see the new store.”
Laid back alternative music and bohemian decorations allow for customers to shop comfortably.
Ecologie offers brands such as Free People, Urban Outfitters, Brandy Melville and many other upscale, usually more expensive clothes.
Consignment, vintage and new merchandise are available in store and online.
